Kidz-Q Competition — Sat. August 18th, 2018 9:00 am

Hello young chefs – to prepare for the judges you have “cooks choice” but must use bacon in your recipe.  Start practicing, so you can dazzle them with your creativity!

Your parents will really enjoy your efforts as you refine your cooking technique.

Our first place winners in each age category receive a $200 cash scholarship.

Our second place winners each receive a $100 cash scholarship.

PLEASE REMEMBER:  ALL preparation, cooking, and presentation MUST be the responsibility of the contestant. Parents you are there for safety and moral support purposes.  Sit back, relax, watch, and let your children amaze you!

Be sure you start practicing and register early for the KidzQ competition.  It’s a great time with cash prizes and fun!  You must be able to prepare your food, cook it, and present without any help.  You will be cooking on charcoal grills — you may bring your own or use one of ours.  We will light them for you.  Be on the river at 9:00 am — judging will be at 11:00 am; and the prizes will be awarded at the KCBS awards ceremony at 4:00 pm in Brown Gym that same day.  We’ll be looking for your application!
